After reading the book Night Tree by Eve Bunting, kindergarten and eighth grade created their own little treats for all of the critters outside. Typically kindergarten and eighth grade would do this outside, however with the unfortunate intense, rainy weather we made this an inside activity and plan to deliver these to the woods next week. Fun Forest Friday is based on the idea that we need to be “stewards of the forest”. The woods and the forest give us so many gifts throughout the year and it seems only right that we take care of it and at times can reciprocate by giving back.
