Due to the many hours of planning by middle school staff, and the generosity of the staff at KSR, 8th graders were fortunate enough to head out into the woods and enjoy three days and two nights of the Maine outdoors.
Dedham 8th grade students participated in many team building activities throughout their stay. The most rewarding event for most involved was the solo overnight camping trip in the woods. After some instruction from teachers and a game warden, students had to create a shelter with two ropes and two tarps. All students successfully created and slept solo in the woods this year! Great work, eighth graders!
Dedham 8th graders also had the honor to meet Mr. Gary Robbins. Thank you for having us!
Thank you to all those involved to make this trip such a great success!
